Russia’s Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova made the announcement during a joint press conference with her Iranian counterpart Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili that was held in Moscow on Tuesday following official talks between delegations of the two countries.
Lyubimova also noted that Tehran and Moscow agreed to arrange many cultural events.
Esmaeili, heading a delegation, arrived in Moscow on Monday to take part in Iran’s Culture Week in Russia and discuss the expansion of bilateral ties with Russian officials.
Esmaeili said Iran’s Culture Week was aimed to strengthen cultural interactions between the two nations.
He stressed that Iran and Russia should promote their cultural relations by expanding their cooperation in the fields of cinema, literature, theater, and music.
Iran and Russia have enhanced their bilateral relations over the past years.
